Short and sweet update to Microsoft Teams this week, but interestingly something I hadn’t realised was missing! There are now missed call and voicemail notifications within the Calls app in Teams.
You can read the full release note below:
Get notifications for missed calls and voicemail
If you’ve got a Calls app on the left side of Teams, you’ll start to see notifications about missed calls and new voicemail in your Activity feed. Click on a missed call notification to go to your Call history tab and call back. Click on a new voicemail notification to head to the Voicemail tab, where you’ll be able to listen to your message or review a transcript.
If you’re missing a Calls app on the left, that means you’ll start getting notifications about missed calls only. Clicking on a missed call notification will take you straight to your chat with the caller, where you’ll be able to send a message or start a call.
This is a nice addition, and one that I’m surprised wasn’t already there!
What’s your favourite new feature in Microsoft Teams? Is there something you’re still waiting for? Let me know!
